Graduate Student Association

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is one of the four shared governance organizations on Frostburg State University's campus. Our aim is to represent all Frostburg State University graduate students and assist in increasing the quality of their academic, professional, and social pursuits.

History
Students over the years have worked to create a functioning Graduate Student Association to represent the constituent of graduate students on Frostburg’s campus. In January of 2024, Erin Geibel and Sonja Barber with the support of advisors, Dr. Artie Tavis and Dr. Sharman Adams, established a strong foundation for future graduate students associated with the GSA to build on.

Funding
The GSA is funded by a student fee of $5/credit for on-campus students. Students not based on Frostburg’s campus are encouraged to opt into the fee. Please email billingoffice@gregorybgallagher.com from your Frostburg email to opt into the GSA fee.

Benefits
GSA members have access to request
